Get an ‘insider’s look’ at Greene County Medical Center

For the second time this summer up to 40 guests will experience a unique “insider’s tour” of a local business. On Thursday, July 25, Greene County Medical Center will host this after hours event from 5:30 to 7 pm. The “insiders tours” are organized by the Economic Vitality team of Jefferson Matters for local residents to learn about area businesses and feel proud of the assets of Greene County.

“The entire Greene County Medical Center team is excited about this rare opportunity,” said CEO Chad Butterfield. “Most people have never been behind certain doors to see where many of our skilled team members work in specialized settings or the state-of-the-art equipment daily. It will be our pleasure to welcome our regional community members and showcase all we have to offer.”

Reservations are needed to attend the event which will feature several key areas of the medical center for an exclusive tour. A limited number of “insiders” will be able to participate in this walking tour of areas in the hospital not seen by the general public. Early registration is encouraged and the deadline is Thursday, July 18. Those attending the tour will secure “insider” passes to uncover the secrets and stories behind this local service business, delving into the unseen aspects that make it thrive.

5:30 pm – Enjoy an exclusive insider walking tour of Greene County Medical Center in Jefferson. Learn the background of these special areas by the team members who know them best. Included will be a tour of the Operating Room, Radiology, Nutritional Services and get up close to some very specialized equipment used at GCMC. In some areas, PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) will need to be worn and will be provided by GCMC.

6:30 – 7 pm – Refreshments will be served in the GCMC atrium lobby area. “Insiders” will have a chance to ask more questions of the staff and mingle with other guests.
